🍂 Hello Scandilabs Community! 🍂 As the leaves turn to vibrant hues of red and gold and a gentle autumn breeze fills the air, it's the perfect time to embrace the changing season.
Autumn is here, and it brings with it a unique opportunity to find happiness, focus on the positive, and feel more fulfilled in your everyday life. If you’re not sure how, here are some proven happiness hacks to help you navigate this beautiful autumn season with a sense of joy and optimism. In fact, just reading them will make you feel more inspired.

🌿 1. Get into nature. Nature generates positive emotions. Be it staring out to sea, walking through the woods or gazing up at the sky. Giving some time to strengthening that ancient human link brings about calmness, joy, creativity and improves concentration.

🧘 2. Meditation is medication. One study demonstrated that after only eight weeks of meditating every day for six days a week, participants reported becoming happier. You don’t have to be great at it either, just sitting still, focusing on your breath for five minutes daily is enough to create meaningful change.

🤗 3. Embrace someone. Take a break from air kisses, cuddling releases “feel good” hormones. These hormones include oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin. Once the hormones are released into our bodies we experience feelings of happiness, relaxation, improvement in mood, and lower levels of depression.

🧘‍♀️ 4. Talk kindly to yourself. Watch your inner monologue and how you refer to yourself. If you wouldn’t treat someone else that harshly, don’t allow it for yourself. When you speak kindly to yourself consistently, you experience more self-belief, confidence, and less stress.

👥 5. Be socially selective. You are a product of the people you surround yourself with. If they aren’t bringing you up, they could be taking you down. Choose carefully who you spend time with and don’t put the onus on duty.
