How I Stayed Healthy While Everyone Else Got Sick: My Biohacking Travel Routine

On a recent trip to London and St. Tropez, I noticed something peculiar: nearly everyone around me was getting sick. Whether it was a cold, flu, or something in between, it seemed like illness was in the air—but not for me. Despite the travel, changing environments, and close contact with others, I stayed healthy and energized the entire time. Here’s how my biohacking regimen kept me resilient.

Pre-Travel Biohacking Stack

Before I even stepped on the plane, I made sure my immune system was in top form by stacking several biohacking treatments daily. This preparation is key to building a strong defense against potential stressors and pathogens that often come with travel. Here's what my pre-trip biohacking routine looked like:

1. RED LIGHT THERAPY

I made sure to get in regular sessions in my RedLight bed to stimulate cellular regeneration and reduce inflammation. This is one of my go-to treatments for keeping my body optimized. I take methylene blue before every treatment as it increases the benefits and the ATP production.

2. HYPERDISSOLVED OXYGEN AND OZONE THERAPY

By saturating my system with high levels of oxygen, I boosted my body's ability to heal, energize, and fight off any lingering threats. An incredibly powerful tool for detoxification and immune support, the ozone tub helped cleanse my body and promote overall well-being.

3. PEMA (PULSED ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD THERAPY

By stimulating my cells with electromagnetic pulses and frequencies, I ensured that my body was operating at its best, improving circulation, energy production, and healing. I didn’t just use this pre-trip; I brought my PEMA mat with me while traveling and used it daily to keep my body aligned and functioning optimally.

4. OZONE

I also did ozone rectally before I left which among a myriad of benefits has antimicrobial Properties: Ozone is known to have strong antimicrobial effects, potentially fighting off bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. It is sometimes used as part of an overall strategy to support gut health or combat systemic infections.

5. SCANDILABS IMMUNE FORMULA+

I loaded up on Scandilabs Immune formula+ twice a day a week before I left to really supercharge my immune system!

With this stack, I felt prepared for anything the trip would throw at me, but I didn’t stop there.

My On-the-Road Biohacking Routine

Once on the plane, I stuck to a simple yet effective daily routine to maintain my immune resilience. I brought along my essentials, starting with my PEMA mat, which I made sure to use every day, keeping my energy balanced and my body relaxed despite the hustle of travel.

I also packed povodone-iodine to gargle each day as well as a nasal spray. You won’t find povidone-iodine in the UK or France, but I consider it an essential part of staying healthy when exposed to new environments. It kept my throat and nasal passages clear, preventing any pathogens from taking hold.

Clean Eating and a Little Indulgence

As a biohacker, I’m always mindful of what I eat, especially when traveling. Luckily, the food in France is incredibly fresh and pure, tasting like real food should. I stuck to a clean diet, indulging in nutrient-dense, whole foods that provided the vitamins and minerals my body needed to stay strong. However, when in the south of France, I couldn’t resist the temptation of a glass of rosé wine. I allowed myself this small indulgence but balanced it out with my bitters and NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) to ensure my body processed everything smoothly.

Why I Stayed Healthy

So, why did I stay healthy while so many others around me fell ill? I believe it comes down to the daily biohacking practices I implemented before and during the trip. Each element of my routine—whether it was ozone treatments, the RedLight bed, Scandilabs or Hyperdissolved Oxygen—played a role in strengthening my immune system and optimizing my overall health.

The combination of advanced treatments, daily preventative measures like povidone-iodine, and my dedication to clean eating allowed me to stay at my peak. I was prepared, and it paid off.

Takeaways for Your Next Trip

Whether you're a seasoned biohacker or just starting out, there's a lot you can do to stay healthy while traveling:

1. Prepare Before You Leave: Biohack daily in the lead-up to your trip. RedLight therapy, PEMF, and ozone treatments can help optimize your system before you hit the road.

2. Bring the Essentials: Items like a PEMA mat, povidone-iodine, and key supplements like Scandilabs and NAC are crucial for maintaining your health while you're away.

3. Clean Eating Matters:Stick to whole, fresh foods wherever possible. The difference in how you feel will be night and day.

4. Allow for Small Indulgences: A glass of rosé in the south of France? Why not! Just balance it out with bitters or supportive supplements.

Staying healthy on the go is possible if you biohack smartly, stay consistent, and remain mindful of what you put into your body. Safe travels and stay strong!
